Neapolitan Folk Living Nativity

A revisitation of the classic nativity scene in a popular Neapolitan key, where it will be staged a glimpse of the life of Naples in the 800th century on Christmas day. A “Pazzariello”, a Neapolitan auctioneer, will lead the spectators towards the mystery of the Incarnation showing them the characters of the crib, among the shops and taverns up to the cave, on a two-storey scenographic structure. The show is organized by the folk group O 'Pazzariello and has been translated into five different languages ​​to spread the Neapolitan culture.

Christmas Market and Living Nativity

In the archaeological park of the Falcone farm, a Living Nativity in Seventeenth-century Neapolitan style. Over three hundred figures will give life to the most famous atmospheres of the Neapolitan crib school in about twenty scenes, including colorful huts and sets. Between glimpses of daily life and forgotten ancient crafts, street vendors and musicians, but also oriental ladies, Moors, fishermen, carpenters, shoemakers, farmers, shepherds, washerwomen and potters. XXV edition of the Living Nativity

In the small hamlet of Campora, in Agerola, a fascinating Living Crib inspired by the Neapolitan eighteenth century will be set up thanks to the collaboration between the Parish of San Martino Vescovo di Campora and the Pro Loco of Agerola. The celebration reaches its 700th edition and includes a representation that will involve about 200 characters and which will take place in the streets of the historic center of Campora.

XXXIV edition of the Living Nativity

The youth group and the parish events group of Trecase, together with the Parish of Santa Maria delle Grazie and San Gennaro di Trecase, will organize a Living Nativity Scene in the main square of the town. January 5th will be particularly impressive as the "solemn arrival of the Magi" will be awaited. Trecase is one of the 8 longest-lived living nativity scenes in southern Italy.

White Christmas

The second edition of Bianco Natale will be organized in the Municipality of Pimonte, with the setting up of Christmas markets and a Living Nativity Scene. The latter has now reached its nineteenth edition and will guide all visitors on a 1km route along the Lavatoio Valley, in the Lattari Mountains. It will be very suggestive and characteristic. XVII edition of the Living Nativity

In the magical setting of the ancient Forino will take place, as every year, a Living Nativity become part of the Campania tradition. The representation of the crib of land in the rooms of the old farmhouse built next to the Feudal Palace, with about two hundred figures in period costume who will show biblical scenes from the announcement of the Messiah to the Nativity, but also of daily life of the time, between the typical trades of Palestine of two thousand years ago and those of the artisan tradition of Forino.

XXXI edition of Crib in the Crib

Visitors to this suggestive Living Nativity they climb each year with the shepherds on Monte Mucre, among winding and steep streets, crossing the scenes of the Annunciation and the journey of Mary and Joseph, to arrive at the cave where the Nativity takes place, where the last born of the country to interpret the Child Jesus. In the historic village "Porti" in the locality of Casali there will be a living nativity scene with three hundred figures in period costumes, thirty-five stations of ancient crafts, three cellars set up in detail and three dining areas.
