The wonderful Palace of Caserta will be exceptionally open during the holiday season, and more particularly will be open on Christmas Eve, the 24 December, and all groups from 26 to 31 December. The facility will only be closed on Christmas day 2022.
And so tourists and citizens will be able to stroll through the gardens of the palace and breathe the Christmas atmosphere and thus spend a very special day.
Visits to the Royal Palace of Caserta during the Christmas holidays
During these special openings it will be possible to visit the newly restored rooms in the XNUMXth century wing of the Royal Apartments, stroll in the Royal Park and in the English Garden.
On the occasion of Christmas it will also be possible visit the Court nativity scene, the only one commissioned by royalty. In fact, King Charles of Bourbon had a passion for setting up the crib, a love inherited from his father Philip V.
Furthermore, on 24 and 31 December from 10:00 to 13:00 with last admission at 12:45 sThe Court Theater will also be open. On the day of Santo Stefano instead, the special appointment with the Concert for a day of celebration of the Matinèe of the Chamber Orchestra of Caserta, from 11:15 in the Palatine Chapel. The protagonist will be the soloist Bruno Canino at the piano. Participation is included in the cost of admission.
Tuesday 27 December, the weekly closing day, the site will be open to the public, in particular the Royal Park and the English Gardens according to normal hours, the Apartments will close at 19:10.
