The Cloister of Santa Chiara in Naples will give citizens the true spirit of Christmas!
In Naples now streets and shops are already decorated for the Christmas and with them all the events dedicated to the occasion are ready to go.
Between the markets, exhibitions and concerts around the city is added the beautiful Cloister of Santa Chiara that from 5 December 2014 to 7 January 2015 will host the 2nd edition of "Christmas at the Cloister", a mix of events that will cheer the Neapolitan celebrations.
After the remarkable success of the first edition, the initiative, organized by the Community of the friars of the Monastery of Santa Chiara and under the artistic direction of Silvano forte, this year presents itself with a broad program and even more rich in news.
Together with the inevitable and traditional living nativity scene, they will accompany you fascinating concerts, including violins, guitars and gospel choirs embellished with photographic exhibitions and film screenings.
The Christmas intent at the Cloister is among the noblest: to give Naples the magic of Christmas, to give the lively and special spirit typical of these holidays, to give a moment of serenity and tranquility in spite of the stress and the problems to be faced every day of the year.
To begin, therefore, to unwrap the beautiful gift Donato to the Neapolitan public, it will be there photographic exhibition signed by Carlo Arace that will exalt Naples through the light of photography, managing to capture new, hidden details, nuances and beauties that only the play of light and shadow can reveal.
