From Goldoni to Totò to Eugenio Barba in the new theater season of the Nest, the Napoli Est Teatro in the heart of San Giovanni a Teduccio.
"The theater has arrived" is the title of the new theater season of Naples East Theater directed by the collective Nest that has given life, for some years, to a socio-cultural project in the eastern suburbs of Naples, in the heart of San Giovanni a Teduccio. A special initiative that pursues the objective of re-evaluating a peripheral area of our territory and a place abandoned to decay, but where Francesco Di Leva, Adriano Pantaleo and Carmine Guarino have founded a creative and multi-functional space and a cultural reference point for our city, animated every year by theatrical performances but also by workshops, workshops and exhibitions.
La Nest's 2017 / 2018 season is announced as "unconventional", as, for the first time, it will take the audience home thanks to "Arrotini del teatro" that will turn through the alleys of the neighborhood to the cry of "The Theater has arrived!". In short, the Nest reveals itself, as stated by Francesco Di Leva, one of the founders, "A necessary community service, at least that's what we believe since the Nest was born, and some results on the territory prove it".
Starting from 4 November 2017 you can, therefore, attend two theatrical shows a month, from Goldoni a Toto, with great space for the new drama and with the novelty of the project conNESTioni that will bring the great master to the Nest Eugenio Barba, who will present “Ave Maria”, an Odin Teatret show.
