Also in Acerra, in the province of Naples, there will be the largest 5-a-side football tournament in the world, the “Neymar Jr's Five”!
On the occasion of the twenty-fifth birthday of the champion of Barcelona Neymar Jr, the 26 March 2017 will start at Neymar Jr's Five, largest soccer tournament in 5 in the world that will also do stop in Acerra, in the province of Naples, 30 April 2017. Thanks to RedBull's sponsorship, teams from different 53 countries will be involved and will compete for the final to be held at the Projeto Neymar Jr Institute in Santos, Brazil.
The tournament
The formula adopted by the tournament is inspired by street football with which Neymar Jr himself has grown: every time a team scores, the opponents lose a man. Every game will last 10 minutes or until a team does not loses all the components. The tournament is divided first by nations (in Italy they will be disputed well 8 stages of which one in Acerra) and then by continents up to the winners of the groups that will compete to reach the final in Santos. Furthermore, the two finalist teams will have the chance to incontare the patron of the tournament, Neymar Jr.
How to sign up
To participate in the Neymar Jr's Five 2017 you must register for free via here or, as far as the Neapolitan stage is concerned, in papery way bringing the completed forms to the Job Cafè counter in Piazza Duomo in Acerra on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 09.00 to 13.00 or on Tuesday and Thursday from 16.00 to 19.00 at the CED of the Diocese of Acerra. All teams made up of five members of both sexes, aged between 16 and 25 or with a maximum of two participants over the age of 25, can participate.
