At Teatro Diana Napoli will be staged Non ti Pago, the famous Eduardo comedy!
La Theater Company by Luca De Filippo will stage the show "I do not pay you"The Teatro Diana of Naples 23 from November to December 4 2016.
The comedy is part of the collection entitled "Cantata dei Giorni even" and is one of the funniest masterpieces of the great playwright Eduardo De Filippo. It was first performed in 1940 and has since become a huge hit first for the father and then for the son.
The theater company, after the death of Luca De Filippo, has decided not to stop and to carry on its project by scheduling several shows in the 2016-2017 season. The work narrates the vicissitudes of people who live in the hope of being able to change their future thanks to one lottery win, for this they are attentive to dreams, to popular beliefs and to superstitions.
In the theater the role of the protagonist Ferdinando Quagliuolo will be played by the actor Gianfelice Imparato, chosen by Luca as his successor and known to the public for having trained with the maestro Eduardo, while Carolina Rosi, daughter of the great Italian director Francesco Rosi, will play the role of Concetta, wife of Ferdinando. The cast is made up of well-known faces in the theater such as Nicola Di Pinto (Aglietiello), Massimo De Matteo (Mario Bertolini), Gianni Cannavacciuolo (father Raffaele), Giovanni Allocca (the lawyer Strummillo) and Paola Fulciniti (Erminia and Carmela) and faces young people including Carmen Annibale, Viola Forestiero, Federica Altamura and Andrea Cioffi.
