At the Studio 1 photographic atelier, the Obi Obiettivolici review, dedicated to cinema and photography and to the great names of both art forms

Different Goals is a review dedicated to cinema and photography that will take place until June 2015 at the STUDIO 1 of Naples and which this year reaches its second edition.

Organized by the Effetto Napoli cultural association, the event takes place inside this important photographic atelier to fully explore the connections that indissolubly link cinema and photography, two forms of art that have many points in common and that are closely linked to each other.

With Objectives Different we want to explore the paths of both forms of art through the reproduction of shorts shot by famous artists and documentaries on history of the photography of great names in photography. The next appointment, scheduled for April 9, 2015, will be entirely dedicated to the art of Stanley Kubrick, who began his journey as a photographer and who exploited his talent and his photographic experience in the world of cinema. The director is in fact one of the most fitting examples of perfect mix between photography and cinema.

The calendar will continue with the in-depth study of photography milestones such as Henry Cartier-Bresson e David Hamilton and great filmmakers like Wim Wenders. There will be documentaries on photography, experimental works, film novels and biographies.

Below, we report the complete calendar of upcoming events. Each appointment will be accompanied by refreshments.
