A guided tour among the churches of Naples to discover all the patron saints of our city, with nougat tasting
The day of the celebration of all Saints, also known as All Saints, approaching, and several cultural associations of Naples have organized routes and guided tours to learn the secrets stored in the historic center of our city.
The cultural association Curiocity has scheduled, for Saturday November 1 2014, a walk told with tasting dedicated to All Saints, an opportunity to discover some patron saints of Naples, those usually "obscured" by the cumbersome presence of the patron saint par excellence: San Gennaro!
Participants in the traveling event All saints, miracles and nougat they will be able to make the acquaintance of other patron saints, whose relics lie and in hidden and less known churches, and perhaps whose blood melts just like that of San Gennaro, and in some cases, with an unthinkable frequency and regularity!
The route will start from Church of the Old Jesus, and will continue through the small churches of San Biagio and San Gennaro all'Olmo, up to the famous church of San Gregorio Armeno, also known as Santa Patrizia. The story of the 3 and a half spiers will be told of the historical center, and of the All Saints Day.
And to accompany the cultural journey in the Neapolitan tradition, there will also be a way to talk about the history of Nougat, which can be tasted while walking to better understand its essence.
