Halloween at the Maschio Angioino is tinged with Neapolitan style with “Ghosts at the Castle”!
Il 31 October 2015, Maschio Angioino will be the protagonist of "Ghosts at the Castle", the fun and playful guided tour dedicated to Neapolitan Halloween.
The fifteenth edition of the event, organized by Itinera, will immerse adults and children in the chilling atmosphere of ancient and popular Naples, where to scare citizens are the so-called Anime Pezzentelle.
Good friends, these, according to the historical tradition they return, in the buildings that have inhabited, every November 2.
The special visit will therefore allow children and adults to visit the courtyard, the Armory Hall, the Chapel and the Hall of the Barons through stories, popular beliefs, legends, superstitions and the typical cult of the Neapolitan dead, recounted and pleasantly recited by expert guides, who will take the role of the Anime Pezzentelle residing in the sumptuous city castle.
The Neapolitan families will be able to learn, with the game and the acting, the beauties guarded by the Maschio Angioino, celebrating the scariest party of the year far from American customs and customs, but emphasizing the tradition and the treasures that the immense Neapolitan culture preserves.
