On the occasion of the Edwardian week, typical Neapolitan sweets will be distributed free of charge to the guests of the bed and breakfasts in the residences of Naples: sfogliatelle and babà for breakfast from 1 at the November 7!
Organizing this initiative is theAbbac Confesercenti, the Campania bed & breakfast and guest house association and the aim is obviously to celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of the death of one of the greatest dramatists of the twentieth century.
The great Eduardo who in "These ghosts" made the coffee ritual immortal, as he wanted it "in a monk's mantle", the right color for cooking, will be 'testimonial' postmortem of the Neapolitan sweets that he loved so much. The initiative aims to do to taste and know, especially to foreign tourists, the Neapolitan confectionery tradition.
They will not withstand the intense fragrance and the crunchiness of the sfogliatella nor the softness and the liquoriness of the babà. The desserts will be purchased strictly by city laboratories and guests will have as a souvenir of the living room a tray of sfogliatelle and babà.
