Padula in Festa for Charles V and the Omelet of the Thousand Eggs with its historical re-enactments and its typical dishes, it is almost upon us.
From 8 to 10 August 2017 in fact, the Pro Loco of Padula proposes the XXII edition of the city of Salerno historical reenactment of the oldest Vallo di Diano, which will take place among the extraordinary settings of the Charterhouse of St. Lawrence and Ancient Walk of the Certosini Monks.
Historical re-enactments and the Thousand Eggs Frittata
The historic party will be an opportunity for participants to do a wonderful dive into the millennial past of the Carthusian complex, where he stopped in the 1535Emperor Charles V returning from Tunis after the victorious expedition against the Barbarians, as reported by "Del Regno in Perspective", chronicle written in the seventeenth century. by the historian G. Battista Pacichelli.
