In the beautiful submerged park of Baia, which today is closed to the public following the restrictions issued by the Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte to limit the contagion from Coronavirus, the jobs concerning a new visit path, probably open in the season 2021.
Submerged park of Baia: new path
Despite therefore the closure searches are continuing and in fact the team of divers is working to unearth one amazing new area of the submerged park of Baia which will be visible in 2021.
In particular, the area in question is located at the Portus Julius, zone B of the Submerged Park of Baia, an area certainly less explored than area A of Punta Epitaffio.
The team focused primarily on what should most likely be a large square or perhaps a peristyle with arcades, placed in the center of the area. Some were already known in this area mosaic floors, among these a very particular one with a black background and small irregular inserts of colored marble. Details too the great apses it's a accumulation of amphorae that you are looking to date.
