Pat Metheny, the great American guitarist, after six years of absence returns to Napoli to perform in concert atArena Flegrea on the occasion ofArena in Jazz il 12 July 2016. A great event that will see four great jazz artists take to the stage. In progrmma, in fact, too Diana Krall , Chick Corea and Rufus Wainwright.
Pat Metheny returns to perform in Naples to feel the warmth of his audience who so loved him when in the distant 1995 he saw him play alongside the great master Pino Daniele during his tour.
The artist will not be alone but will duet with Ron Carter, a great icon of the jazz double bass, with whom he shared the stage of the Detroit Jazz Festival obtaining a resounding success. It was precisely the positive comments of the critics and the acclaim of the public that convinced them to undertake a mini European tour together.
Metheny wanted to organize a spectacular event and the young English pianist will also be on the stage of the Arena Gwilym Simcock which has recently joined the band. All that remains is to book tickets and wait for the magical atmosphere of jazz to envelop us all.
