Free visits aboard the destroyer Andrea Doria and the Cavour aircraft carrier in the Port of Naples.

La aircraft carrier Cavour and the destroyer Andrea Doria will be moored in Port of Naples from 19 to 21 May 2017, precisely near the Maritime Station.

Anyone can get on board for free to visit the two boats, only on May 20th and 21st. Furthermore, the Navy has arranged that it will be possible to enter the civil area of ​​the port only on foot and that guided tours will also be provided for school groups, institutions, maritime clusters and non-profit organizations.

The stop in the port is foreseen because it is at the end of theinter-force and international exercise "Open Sea" conducted by the Commander in Chief of the Naval Squad. It was the first annual complex training event of the Navy in which assets of the Army and the Air Force, naval units of the two permanent groups of NATO and the European Maritime Force participated.
