In the ancient center of Naples will be represented the 2016 Living Nativity in San Lorenzo Maggiore with scenes from the '700!

"Nascette nu Ninno in San Gregorio Armeno ..." is the title of the theatrical-musical representation to be held in San Lorenzo Maggiore the 27, 28 and 29 December 2016. In the ancient center of Naples, the event that last year attracted about 1800 spectators reaches its nineteenth edition.

The Living Nativity Committee - Centro Antico Napoli, in collaboration with the parish community of the basilica and with the theatrical association the "Arcoscenico", presents to the public the scenes from the 700th century Neapolitan nativity scene. During the sixty minutes of the show, visitors will be able to admire the Annunciation, the market, the Nativity. To accompany everything there will be four narrative voices and live music with tammorre and guitars.

The initiative has obtained the patronage of the Municipality of Naples and is included in the “Nativity - Christmas in Naples” program. The small contribution requested at the entrance will be destined to the Oratory of San Lorenzo, engaged in recovery of minors at risk in the historical center of the city.

It is just one of many suggestive Living Nativity Scenes in Naples and Campania.
