In the historic center of Naples, an exhibition with the smallest cribs in the world, even the size of 3 millimeters!

A very original exhibition that set up in the historical center of Naples: it is some of the smaller cribs in the world, even the size of 3 millimeters.

The exhibition is located in the headquarters of the “Progetto Sophia. Women towards beauty ”and is created with the patronage of the Municipality. The mini-cribs are the result of the creativity of Don Antonio Esposito who, during the war, holed up in his studio to give birth to these little masterpieces.

The cribs are the result of 40 years of artistic research in which the works have gradually been perfected and have taken on an aura of lightness and brightness. Don Antonio Esposito has also embarked on a spiritual journey focusing on the creation of the cribs, reaching perfection with the one enclosed within a hemp seed of 3 mm.

In total these minidiorami are 45 and are made within walnut shells, of eggs, of pistachios and with natural raw materials: there are faces painted on grains of pear pulp, figures carved in drops of dried oil color, trees made with very small twigs or pine needles.

An exhibition that will leave you breathless and that you can fully experience with the help of magnifying glasses and light that will be provided to all visitors. There will also be a guide that will introduce you to the world of this original artist.
