From 22 to 25 September 2021 on the Island of Procida will host the IX edition di Procida Film Festival, the special film festival under the artistic direction of Francesco Bellofatto. Recall that the island was chosen as Italian Capital of Culture 2022 and is preparing to organize many events for next year.
For this new edition theIndia as a host country that will also launch the project for the occasion Bollywood-Italy 2022, which apparently will choose our territories as places to shoot their production.
The island of Procida ranks second in Campania as the number of locations chosen for international productions shot in the last 70 years, therefore it has a deep connection with the world of cinema
Organized by the Campania region and from FCRC, the event will see the participation of many guests and will talk above all about the great personalities who have characterized Italian cinema.
Over 500 short films and documentaries from 67 countries have been selected for the review, while among the sections there will be Procida for the Social in which it will participate Fight for life by Cristian Boragine directed by Nando De Maio. For the previews instead there will be Andrea Renzi with Me, in the game of seductions by Vito Zagarrio.
