Put your handz in Naples, International Graffiti Jam at Gianturco Station

Graffiti, live painting, dj set and rap and break dance contest for the "Put your handz, International Graffiti Jam" event at Gianturco Station

The artistic graffiti color and cheer more and more the urban spaces of our cities, giving character and originality to entire neighborhoods. The project Put Your Hand, International Graffiti Jam was born with these premises, with the intent of transform abandoned urban spaces and left to decay to make them more visibly livable.

"Put your Handz" it literally means "Put your hands on it" and it is an event that will bring together many writers and street artists from Campania, Italy and some European capitals who during the day of Sunday 22nd June 2014 they will collaborate in the "re-appropriation" of some degraded areas near the Gianturco station through graffiti art.

THEInternational City Jam therefore represents an international initiative but also a return to the roots, conceived on the imprint of block party in the street, where sharing ideas, establishing relationships, getting to know and meeting new people, are the prerequisites for living and confronting in a genuine and true way, through Writing, Mcing, Breaking and Djing, disciplines that belong to the HipHop culture.

On the occasion of the event Put your Handz, Sunday 22 June from 11 to 23 will 700 paintings square meters of wall by over 40 writers. The live painting event will be accompanied by Rap and Break Dance contest.

The event is included in the review June Youth organized by the Department of Youth, Creativity, Innovation of the Municipality of Naples
