The important Regata dei Tre Golfi 2016 will start from Naples and at night it will also touch 6 islands!
It will take place in Naples 2016 Three Golf Course, an important sailing event now in its 62nd edition. This year will start at 23.55 of May 13 and will have as background the unique and splendid panorama of our areas.
The path of the "Night of the Three Gulfs Regatta”That the boats will follow will be Naples-Ponza-Isolotti de Li Galli with arrival in Naples and it will be around 170 miles long. This is a fundamental regatta that will be part of the 2016 Offshore Championship.
It is the main long regatta of the southern Tyrrhenian Sea and is the only one to pass well 6 islands, namely Ischia, Ventotene, Ponza, Procida, Li Galli and Capri, as well as three Gulfs which are those of Naples, Gaeta and Salerno.
The start will be at night to make the race even more impressive and in addition to the challenge classic there will also be a separate category that will participate: it is the one made up of boats with only two crew members. These boats are competing for the “Tre Golfi per Due”.
The logistical base of the Regata dei Tre Golfi is al Borgo Marinari, at the docks of the Circolo del Remo and della Vela Italia and the RYCC Savoia.
