In the Rooms of the Terraces at the Castel dell'Ovo comes the painting of Roberto Pagliaro, including artistic citations, existential visions and many emotions
Social-environmental irony, poetic expressions, artistic quotations, oneiric and existential visions, reflections on life: all this will be on display at the Halls of Terraces of the monumental complex of Castel dell'Ovo, which will host, from November 16 to December 1, 2014, the painting exhibition "Re-Creation" signed by the artist Roberto Pagliaro.
Organized by the Art Center "il Castello" and sponsored by the City of Naples, the gallery will present 32 paintings of the internationally renowned Caserta painter.
Through the mixed technique, Pagliaro's works depict a marked dynamism, a movement that in reality is only a facade. In fact, behind each masterpiece there is one mood locked, firm, which transmits to the reader a sense of anxiety and restlessness.
The symbolic charge is very high. The perceptions aroused are perfectly synchronized with the artist's vision, the result of suffering towards social rights and human ethics, often faced with irony and visual games.
But they are also the consequence of the private and individual sphere of man, which establishes increasingly tame and superficial bonds, leaving in a limbo of precariousness and imbalance that is mixed with a clear awareness of oneself.
Deep, social, intimate, historical and futuristic tones and themes used to describe a reflective and self-reflective reality and above all manifold from the collective and individual point of view.
And all this transpires from soft figures, indefinite forms, with often joyful and playful traits in sharp contrast to the perspectives that instead call for silence.
Concepts that cannot be explained with words, but only painting can carry out. Thanks to Pagliaro, the true human nature in all its context and complexity.
