Valù Risotteria in Naples Review

Review of the famous Valù risotteria, in the historic center of Naples

This week we will review the exquisite for you Valù Risotteria , located in Vico Lungo del Gelso 80, in the historic center of Naples.

The local

Valù is one risotteria/ braceria which has as its strong point the variety , quality of his risottos.

The restaurant is located in one of the parallel streets of Via Roma, among the thousand lanes of the Spanish quarters, but It is well reported since the main road. The restaurant was built by an old 1600 building, of which the splendid wooden ceiling remains, restored.

The place is small and the tables are very close to each other, but the environment comfortable and the open kitchen will quickly pass the waiting time. In summer it is also possible to eat out on tables in the street.

The menu

The menu of the Valù Risotteria presents about one thirty of risotto varieties, from the most classic, such as courgettes and prawns, to the most details, like pineapple and shrimp cream risotto. In the case of chronic indecision it is possible to take a trio of risottos.

Who among us does not have someone with difficult tastes? Valù is also braceria, but even if this is not enough you can order the dishes of the nearby Hosteria Toledo, another family place. It is a place where even the celiac people they can eat well and the choice for them is vast.

Our conclusions

Risotto is very much goodi dishes are not absolutely little ones, which makes up for a little the price of the dish. We have found out that lunch is possible save a lot (the cost of risotto is 5 euro, 5 for seconds and 3 for side dishes) although, of course, the menu is limited.

The only thing that could be a bit annoying is the lack of privacy offered by tables that are too close together.
