La Riviera of Chiaia will soon be reopened at traffic after crollo of the building dating back to 4 last March. The countdown for the vehicular fluidisation of the stretch adjacent to the municipal villa officially starts, although an effective date has not yet been set to decree its implementation.
The impression is that the directive will be made tangible as soon as possible, in order to allow the pedestrianization of the seafront freed, one of the projects of force on which Luigi De Magistris had founded his plan for urban redevelopment.
The process will give life to a series of initiatives makeover of the whole area, with events and news that will closely affect Mergellina and neighboring.
Meanwhile, traders of the Riviera di Chiaia appeared decidedly worried about the decision. The opening to traffic, even if partial, is a reason for distress for them, clamoring for security measures that can guarantee them a peaceful sleep.
