Neapolitan gourmets can not miss the Feast of Ancient Taverns, including excellent menus, dances and music
For lovers of ancient Naples in the kitchen, do not miss it "Festival of Ancient Taverns" that, from 1 to 3 May 2015, will be held at the agricultural company dell'IS "Falcone" of Licola of Pozzuoli.
Now in its fifth edition, the famous review will feature as protagonists eight historical inns, reproduced among the beauties of the company's archaeological park. The participants will be catapulted into the Neapolitan 700, where they can interact with the others 300 extras in costume and above all where they can delight themselves with the aromas and flavors of the typical Neapolitan cuisine.
Starting from the always-current street food in the name of grown pasta, rice supplì, squid and fried anchovies, crocchè and much more, visitors can taste the delicious menus of the themed taverns protagonists of the day: the Taverna del Marenaro, dei Poverielli, dei Ciceri, del Casaro, of Chianchiere, of Ragù, of Fava and of Flegrean Dolcezze.
All embellished with agro-food stands, educational farms for children, street vendors, folk dances and many shows and music to the rhythm of tammorre, putipù, guitars and castagnelle.
Last but not least, both for lunch and dinner, will not miss, among the tables, the historic "Neapolitan parking" which will brighten the meals with traditional Neapolitan music, painting the atmosphere with the colors of Naples once, the authentic and genuine.
