The long-awaited gastronomic and cultural event is upon us: the Festival of Fusillo al Ferretto come back to Castelpoto (BN) for its 35th edition. From 12 to 15 August 2023, lovers of good food and tradition can get together to celebrate a symbolic dish of the area.
What do you eat at the festival
The flagship dish of this celebration is undoubtedly the Ferretto Fusillo, masterfully prepared using a thin iron, usually about thirty centimeters long. This pasta is made by hand, following an ancient tradition handed down by the elderly housewives of the village homemade pasta workshops. The goal is to preserve and pass on the art of this preparation to future generations.
Alongside the Fusilli, the Red Sausage PAT, Slow Food presidium and true symbol of Castelpoto. To complete the menu, an excellent Local wine which will enhance the flavors of the dishes on offer. Gastronomy enthusiasts can start their tastings from 20.30 pm at the Gastronomic stands set up for the occasion.
Shows and other activities
The festival is not only a moment of culinary sharing, but also an opportunity for entertainment thanks to shows e live music. The program, which will start every evening at 21.30, includes:
- 12 August: Performances by Zeketam, Followed by Di Set with Di Monamix Voice Show Tommy Dee Vee e RVV Streaming Radio Valle Vitulanese.
- 13 August: Exhibition of the known Alessio Zollo.
- 14 August: The band Stars sons it will warm up the evening.
- 15 August: The group will close the event Italian night.
