Gastronomic goodness and fun at the fusillo, chop and Aglianico wine festival.

From 7 to 8 August 2015, the city of Pietrafusi, in the Avellino area, will host, as every summer, the Festival of fusillo, chop and Aglianico wine.

The aforementioned festival, which initially was a sort of party where games were held and where they were offered some small basins with fusilli handmade by good housewives with a 'melted', has become over time, a manifestation of great interest, thanks to which you can taste the flavors of genuine local cuisine.

The evenings will bring to the table pots full of homemade fusilli, long 7-8 cm, seasoned with a fragrant and tasty chop ragout, the typical roulade made with slices of rolled beef in the shape of a bundle and tied with kitchen string, containing aromatic herbs such as mint, garlic, to be cooked slowly in the sauce. The succulent meal will be accompanied by a glass of Aglianico wine, di deep ruby ​​red color, intense and characteristic aroma, fresh taste. You can also taste ham or sausage sandwiches, and other local specialties.
