The San Marzano Dop Tomato Festival is back in Striano, the appointment is for 13, 14, 15 September 2013.
Twelve years ago, the first dish based on a special ingredient was served: the San Marzano tomato.
The great event is repeated every year to conquer countless palates, we are talking about the Sagra del Pomodoro San Marzano DOP.
The appointment will take place at Striano, with precision in the public gardens of via Risorgimento and the aim is to make known a product that comes from the primary need to highlight a territory often underestimated or even negatively indicted.
Each prescription that will be served during the festival will, of course, topped off with the special juice of local tomatoes. The products used for the recipes and also those present are all a Kilometers Zero.
Moreover, to put even more emphasis on the protection of our planet, the initiative will use only dishes, glasses and cutlery biodegradable. The tables present during the event will offer about 400 seats.
Like the previous edition, also this year is dedicated to legalityIn fact, the festival is against the "system" of the Camorra.
