Not only tastings, but also guided tours and performances in costume during the cherry festival in the village of Castello
La cherry festival al village of Castello, Gragnano, it will end the 19, 20 e 21 June 2015, after having already delighted visitors on the previous weekend.
This is not a simple festival where you can taste many dishes, even very special, based on cherry, but also an event that will lead to the discovery of beauties of the territory.
Friday 19nd June, at 20.00, you can visit the Valley of the Mills, an evocative and unique place to admire the ancient mills that were once present near the torrent Vernotico. The route will end at the village of Castello, between alleys and courtyards where illustrations of scenes of ancient life and appearing in costume. In addition, even a photographic exhibition that will tell the story of the village.
In the background, to accompany the visitors, the notes of the folk songs of local amateur folk bands. The gem will be the Author's Posteggia, which dates back to the Neapolitan tradition and is a sort of serenade of love mixed with street music. The visit will be enriched with films dedicated to cherry of Castello.
The fruit will be the guest star of the event, declined in many preparations along with other dishes to taste.
