The Sagra della Ciliegia will discover the flavors of Benevento while also having fun with shows, karaoke, concerts and much more!
Begun on 1 June with a series of gastronomic, cultural and entertainment initiatives, the Caudine Fork Festival has inside it Cherry Festival, flagship product of the Forchia locality in the province of Benevento.
The fruit will be sold in special food stands that will also offer its derivative products, such as homemade pastries, jams, to enhance the culinary traditions, but also historical-cultural place.
Visitors will share the stalls for tastings and discover flavors and aromas typical of Benevento.
The festival, however, is not the only appointment on the calendar because there will be many activities such as sports, games, concerts, shows and also an Extemporaneous of painting.
The afternoons and evenings of Forchia will also be animated by the re-enactment of the battle of the Caudine Forks with costumed actors, presence of arquebusiers and flag bearers and musical groups that will propose dances and sounds of the popular tradition of the South.
An initiative that will interest sports lovers is the final of the football tournament at 5 Memorial "Tiziano della Ratta", in memory of the carabiniere killed during a robbery in Maddaloni.
The aspiring singers, however, will be delighted with the karaoke divided by age.
In short, a festival that is not just a moment of good food, but also of aggregation and rediscovery of the territory.
