Stands, tastings and lots of entertainment for the 2017 strawberry and asparagus festival in Cardito.
The 6 and May 7 2017 will host the 26th edition of the Strawberry and Asparagus Festival in Cardito, organized by the Belvedere Club in collaboration with the Parish SS. Giuseppe and Eufemia di Carditello in Naples. The organizers, through this gastronomic fair, they want to rediscover the traditions of the territory we have established a strong network of partners, photographic exhibition and at various exhibition stands, they will illustrate the techniques of growing asparagus and their evolution over time.

Visitors can buy strawberries and asparagus in the "panarielli" prepared by local producers.
They will come prepare some dishes of the culinary tradition of Campania which will have as main ingredient the asparagus among which we remember the penne with asparagus, the risotto with asparagus and the asparagus frittatine.
The housewives, with the support of local master confectioners, will prepare fantastic cakes with strawberries, but this year's novelty will be strawberry risotto.
There will also be i wonderful grilled sandwiches with sausage and buffalo mozzarella, a delicacy.
Entertainments
The festival will not be just this, there will also be there theathral show by the young people of the parish, the performances of jugglers and clowns, dances and rides for the fun of adults and children.
To close in beauty, as usual, there will be one fireworks display.
