A menu full of courses and many engaging events for the hazelnut and wild boar festival in Fisciano!
The summer appointment with the Hazelnut and wild boar festival in Gaiano di Fisciano from the 27 to the 30 August 2015.
The festival was born in 1985 thanks to the initiative of some local young people with the intention of enhancing the typical local products, with particular attention to hazelnuts and wild boar meat. Since then, every year the festival has attracted thousands of visitors delighted by the gastronomic delights.
The menu
The tasty menu includes a number of local specialties to choose from: from traditional fusilli with wild boar sauce with wild boar meat main courses, such as sausage with Gaianese field salad, fried meat accompanied by pupacchiole, costarizza of wild boar and the special meat of wild boar stewed in wine white Gaianese flavored with spices.
There will also be desserts prepared with hazelnuts and cooked in a wood oven, as well as coffee and hazelnut liqueurs. The courses will be accompanied by Aglianico Campano.
The areas
The festival will be enriched by a Traditional Area where they will be organized historical re-enactments and fireworks, a Trade Area with stands of handicraft products, km0 and antiques, an Art Area with impromptu exhibitions under the stars and a Music Area with popular music concerts and 70s-80s.
