Typical products and folklore in the 2015 edition of the Porchetta and Sausage Festival
From 7 to 8 August 2015, the Sagra della Porchetta and sausage a Casola di Napoli, in the hamlet of Gesini.
The festival, realized thanks to the commitment of the municipal administration and the Pro Loco of Casola, will exhibit in the various stands set up, the typical products of this village located on the slopes of the characteristic Monti Lattari. Visitors can taste the delicious Porchetta flavored with fresh aromas, collected in the neighboring fields, and the genuine and tender sausage local. The meat will be cooked on the grill at the moment and accompanied by side dishes of seasonal vegetables.
The evenings will be enlivened by traditional songs and dances to make known and recover the culture and folk heritage of the place. The purpose of the festivals, in fact, is to bring people closer together values and ancient tastes, which are the basis of our identity and territorial peculiarity, but also represent a moment of fun and conviviality.
