Castelpoto, a town located in the province of Benevento, is preparing to celebrate, from 22 to 25 April 2023, the highly anticipated 15th edition of the "Red Sausage Festival“. This celebration represents one of the appointments wine and food most popular of the year.
The event, promoted byRed Sausage Association of Castelpoto and Typical Products, aims to highlight the best salume, a Slow Food presidium, produced in compliance with local traditions.
I pigs are bred in the territory, the meat processed by hand without the use of preservatives and dried only with the heat of the fireplace. This prescription it is jealously guarded and handed down from generation to generation.
Program of the festival: music, dance and conviviality
The party will begin Saturday April 22 with the performance ofItalian orchestra "Sons of the Stars". The day of Sunday 23 will be animated by Rochitos and from ballroom dancing in the company of Rocco.
Monday April 24 the concert of the Trementists and, to wrap it up, Tuesday 25th April Will be held the Motorcycle Rally of the Red Sausage starting at 11.00, accompanied by a live music show. During the motorcycle rally, the food stands will also be open for lunch, offering discounted prices for all participants.
