Good food, music and dance will animate the 2018 Ancient Taverns Festival in Licola!

From April to 28 1 May 2018 will host the Festival of ancient taverns organized by the iGiovanni Falcone di Licola's superior office.

As in previous editions, seven ancient trattorias will be set up in the archaeological park of the Institute, along the ancient via Domitiana. In addition, a picturesque village of huts animated by over 300 in costume will be recreated, recalling the ancient crafts and they will prepare delicious foods of the popular Campanian tradition using traditional methods.

A suggestive re-enactment of flavors and eighteenth century costumes, between glimpses of ancient daily life, folk dances, street vendors, and at lunch and dinner times, folkloristic park of the ancient Neapolitan tradition, during which the musicians will stop at the various taverns to perform in short concerts of classical Neapolitan music.

Visitors will be able to observe live the artisanal production of fresh pasta and cheese, taste a choice of about 35 traditional dishes and visit the greenhouses of the institute, which we could define as the shop of its organic products.
