Culture and gastronomy will be the protagonists of the 2015 Gnocco Festival in Taurano!
From 6 at 9 in August 2015 will take place in Taurano, a well-known village in the Avellino area, in the large square in front of the convent of S. Giovanni del Palco, the Gnocco Festival.
They will taste of the excellent typical products local such as soft homemade bread, tasty meatballs, genuine sausages, cold cuts, cheeses, hand-made dumplings, fresh stockfish and sweet side dishes. The event will be marked by good music and culture, so that visitors can participate in exhibitions, guided tours to the Convent and the nearby Roman villa of the 17st century BC (open only on Saturdays and Sundays, at 00 pm and 20 pm). One will also be set up fair market where there will be exhibition stands for products and various objects.
Furthermore. they will be cheered by good local wine, rivers of beer, from karaoke and Latin-American dancing.
The realization of the event is the result of the Pro Loco and all the Tauranese who carefully prepare everything with dedication and well in advance.
