From the 2 to the 4 in August 2015 the famous Riavulillo di Arola will delight all the Neapolitans!

From 2 to 4 August 2015, all Neapolitan gourmets can not miss the famous one Sagra del Riavulillo, which will be held ad Arola, a small fraction of Vico Equense.

For those who do not know the renowned Riavulillo is a smoked caciocavallo pasta filata, stuffed with black olives, olive oil and ground chilli. Served hot and stringy as an appetizer or main course, the cheese is cooked on the grill or in the foil giving off a unique flavor and aroma.

The famous festival, now in its XXI edition, will delight all participants with tastings of different types of Riavulillo, from the classic to those stuffed with ham, tomato and basil, white olives or mushrooms. Furthermore. to entice even more the participants, there will also be the famous Provolone del Monaco DOP, the renowned chestnut honey, various sweets and many other typical local goodness.

All surrounded by entertainment evening song and many entertainment among the beauties of an uncontaminated landscape and popular traditions, the flavors and aromas of a land that has so much to tell, a treasure trove of a unique and expertly handed down art.
