The pro loco Sant'Andrea in Sirignano organizes an original festival whose origins date back to the last century in which a local bishop, to celebrate the Saint, began to donate packages of anchovies to needy families. The gesture looked like a Christmas gift and hence the annual event took its name. Since then, dishes based on poor products from the garden have been prepared that accompany anchovies cooked in various ways. This year they will be eaten linguine with walnuts and anchovies, anchovies and fried cod, raurinium pizza, bean soup with chunks, roasted chestnuts, sweets and cooked wine. All enriched by traditional dances and songs, including quadrilles and Christmas lullabies.

Waiting for Christmas

The second edition of "Waiting for Christmas fun in the city" takes place in San Giuseppe Vesuviano with the entertainment of Made in South comedians, white night and special events for children. The November 21 will be there live music with the “Allerija” starting at 19.30, while the hilarious Arteteca will perform from 20.30.
