Il weekend from 20 to 22 November 2015 promises very greedy thanks to the interesting festivals in Campania all to taste.
The different provinces of the region will offer different kind of festivals, like the one dedicated to wine in the beautiful archaeological park of Paestum. There will be many wineries that will allow samples of the best wines.
You can also have a anticipation of Christmas with the "Piccirill Christmas" party enriched by many local products, from pasta to desserts, and with the "Waiting for Christmas" party made more fun by comedians of Made in South.
But let's discover together what will be all the festivals in Campania for the weekend.
The diver's wine
A wind dedicated to archeology and the Mediterranean diet al Museum of the Archaeological Park of Paestum. They will be able to taste many wines of important wineries who will participate in the competition "Il vino del tuffatore" challenging each other with their products. The winner will be awarded on Friday 20 November. Furthermore, the program will be busy with events and you can visit the beauties of Paestum, such as the beautiful area of the temples and the museum.

'A vrulera
The Municipality of Castiglione del Genovesi organizes two fun evenings in which to taste local products and a menu in which to choose different types of panini, delicious chestnuts and the typical sweet local chestnut. There will not be so much good wine and a craft market will also be set up.

Christmas Piccirill
The pro loco Sant'Andrea in Sirignano organizes an original festival whose origins date back to the last century in which a local bishop, to celebrate the Saint, began to donate packages of anchovies to needy families. The gesture looked like a Christmas gift and hence the annual event took its name. Since then, dishes based on poor products from the garden have been prepared that accompany anchovies cooked in various ways. This year they will be eaten linguine with walnuts and anchovies, anchovies and fried cod, raurinium pizza, bean soup with chunks, roasted chestnuts, sweets and cooked wine. All enriched by traditional dances and songs, including quadrilles and Christmas lullabies.

Waiting for Christmas
The second edition of "Waiting for Christmas fun in the city" takes place in San Giuseppe Vesuviano with the entertainment of Made in South comedians, white night and special events for children. The November 21 will be there live music with the “Allerija” starting at 19.30, while the hilarious Arteteca will perform from 20.30. The initiative will have another appointment on November 28 and, to make visitors even more entertained, the shops on the main streets will be open and there will be special promotions.
