For Valentine's Day 2017, Naples will become even more romantic thanks to the poems of its citizens!
The non-profit cultural association Poesie Metropolitane has launched an awareness campaign and a competition on the occasion of the feast of Valentine's Day in Naples dedicated to love in all its nuances: Metropolitan Poems in Love.
How to participate
To participate in the creative competition, just send your creation to 31 January 2017 Unpublished (or more than one as there are no limits to the number of works that can be sent by the individual) which may be in Italian or Neapolitan and it will be necessary to pay a contribution of 5 euros by bank transfer to IBan IT 40C020080344600010434431.
The money will be used for projects that the association has in the pipeline for schools. At the end of the competition a jury composed of songwriters and writers (whose names are being revealed slowly on) will choose the three winning poems.
The winners
The poems that will win will be printed on posters and hung both in Naples and in other areas of Campania. In addition to the posting, the winning poems will be the protagonists of a video that will be broadcast online, will be declaimed by a famous singer-songwriter, whose name has not yet been revealed by the organization, and will be printed on some chocolate bars of Momenti Golosi. The company will present them at the event "Cioccoliamoci"To be held in Benevento from 10 to 14 February 2017. As a reminder of the victory the three winners will have a plate of chocolate produced by the company itself with its own printed poetry.
