A tour in the ancient center of Naples on Valentine's Day 2018 to learn about the love stories of important historical characters with a concert of classic songs and gourmet menus!
Wednesday 14 February 2018 there will be one guided tour in the historic center of Naples to remember and celebrate loves that have been consumed in the city, so as to make the romantic day of Valentine's day.
Thanks to the Le Capere association we will go to ride through the streets and alleys of the old town and discover what were the most poignant loves and important that have animated these areas. A capera will guide us and among palaces, churches and squares will tell us stories of lovers who are very or little known and the legends that surround them.
For example, know the passion that flowed between Catarinella Frezza and Stefano Maricondo, from which love is said to be born the spiteful Munaciello? Or the story between Maria D'Avalos and Prince Carlo Gesualdo and the story that sees the Toraldo sisters as protagonists?
If the answer is no, this will be a wonderful opportunity to deepen and learn about love episodes that have characterized our Naples. Such as the famous falling in love between Boccaccio and Fiammetta in the Church of San Lorenzo Maggiore.
