The most famous and well-known street in Naples in the world, that is San Gregorio Armeno, prepares to welcome the sweetest party of the year, that is Valentine's day, the holiday dedicated to lovers.

Indeed, Thursday February 3 2022 at 12:00 there will be the special appointment, at the Church of San Gennaro all'Olmo, with the inauguration of the new edition of San Gregorio Armeno in LOVE at 360 degrees. The event, organized by the Le Botteghe di San Gregorio Armeno Association, it will last until February 14th.

You can thus stroll among the various shops, where the master craftsmen for the occasion have created many works and statuettes dedicated to love.

There will be many initiatives proposed for Valentine's Day in Naples, here are some of them.

Metropolitan Poems

Poesie Metropolitane has been organizing since January 18th to February 8, 2022 a special poetry contest dedicated to love. You can participate by presenting a 5-line poem and paying the participation fee of 10 euros. All information at: contestpoesiemetropolitane@gmail.com or on the Poesie Metropolitane facebook page.
February 13th from 10:30 to 13:00 the association will pay homage to all guests with special bookmarks that will contain the poems of all participants in the competition. In addition there will also be a reading on love, open to all. At 20:00 the artist FlaviaFlab will paint one of her works of art with the winning poem of the competition on the shutter of the Maddaloni workshop.

Don't say a word that isn't love

The Muna Association on 13 and 14 February attend the event Don't say a word that isn't love. In the historic center of Naples in Piazza San Gaetano, cardboard sheets will be installed on a part of a wall, all passers-by will be able to participate by writing their thoughts of love on the wall with brushes and material offered by the association.

Aperitif for all lovers

From 9 February 2022 al Largo di Arianiello there will be an installation of flowers and an arch of hearts under the mural by Diego Armando Maradona. The my street will offer an aperitif to all lovers who embrace under the arch of love.
