Feast of San Gennaro in San Gregorio Armeno: dances and parades scheduled
Il 19 September 2023 the festival dedicated to will be celebrated San Gennaro, the patron saint of the city of Naples, and on the occasion of this celebration Naples and its citizens are organizing many events. In particular, this year an unmissable event will take place, we are talking about first edition di Sangue Nuosto – San Gregorio Armeno meets San Gennaro.
Indeed, starting from 17pm on 00 September, one of the most famous streets of Naples, known for its wonderful nativity scenes, will be filled with sounds and dances, with a series of unmissable events that will end on 30 September 2023.
What does the event involve
For the first edition of Sangue Nuosto – San Gregorio Armeno meets San Gennaro which will take place on September 19th, many activities will be organised. In fact, starting from 17pm, one will depart from Piazza San Lorenzo parade-show of the Terra e Lavoro con Voce and Tammorre groups, Echoes of the Mediterranean, with songs and dances among the shops of San Gregorio.
The special show will then follow puppets edited by Le Guarattelle, the Soulpaco, and then again the duo Vento di Mare e Marcello Colasurdo Paranza. There are also many planned typical dishes of the feast of San Gennaro, with the collaboration of the Locanda Seggio del Popolo, accompanied by the excellent wine of Ciglio del Gatto.
It will therefore be an excellent opportunity to celebrate the patron saint of the city and to share a few hours together having fun, do not miss!
