Traditions, gastronomy and shows in the ancient village of Gesualdo
From the 18 20 August 2015, the review will take place "Knowledge and Flavors. History and Traditions in the Ancient Village of Gesualdo", In Avellino.
The event combines thecultural aspect with the enogastronomic and artisanal one, with the aim of displaying the historic center of Gesualdo in the window. For the occasion, in fact, some interesting ones will be set up photographic exhibitions, of craftsmanship, exhibition e tastings of typical products genuine restaurants, conferences, work shops, guided tours, musical and theatrical performances.
The exhibitions will be set up in the “Pisapia - Mattioli” architectural complex, while the other events will be itinerant, involving the entire village. The various dissemination initiatives are based on the history and change of the population and the ancient country, and want to make modern families aware of the flavors and traditions of the past. Moreover, to create a suggestive atmosphere, at the end of each evening the center of the event will host the area of the Theater, for the various performances.
The event is an initiative of ASTREA Gesualdo in collaboration with Gal Irpinia, with the patronage of the Municipality of Gesualdo - Slow Food Condotta Irpinia Hills of Ufita and Taurasi.
