Il 4 March a very important date will fall for Naples and for the Italian music scene, in fact, it will be the 80th birthday of the late artist Lucio Dalla and for this occasion our city has launched a series of events. After the arrival of exhibition dedicated to the Bolognese artist, one will be presented targa named after Dalla.
It will be held on Saturday 4 March 2023, the mayor of Naples, Gaetano Manfredi, will inaugurate the targa entitled to Lucio Dalla that will be placed on the Santa Lucia quay. The initiative was proposed by the city councilor Alessandra Clemente and was accepted unanimously by the Toponymy Commission and subsequently approved by the City Council.
The Circolo Savoia the Tribunal Mist Jazz Band in honor of Dalla
Lucio Dalla had a special bond with Napoli: not only was he a member of the Circolo Savoia and regular guest of a suite of Grand Hotel Vesuvio, but he also had a yacht bearing his own name, the Shine&Billy.
To commemorate the Bolognese artist, the Circolo Savoia will organize a evening in his honor in which the “Tribunal Mist Jazz Band“, with which Dalla had repeatedly performed at the Savoia. The proceeds of the evening will be donated to the rowing sports section for the purchase of a boat.
