Trekking at sunset and stargazing in the beautiful Bay of Ieranto near Massa Lubrense thanks to FAI evenings!
Also this year the FAI organizes wonderful evenings in the Bay of Ieranto, near Massa Lubrense, to make all of us live a very suggestive experience in this beautiful area.
On dates 8, 12, 13, 14, 19, 20 21, 22, 26, 27, 28 and 29 August 2020 there will be guided tours with trekking at sunset in a fantastic scenario that unfolds in front of the Faraglioni of Capri.
Thanks to the AIGAE environmental guides you can participate in a route at high altitude between Monte San Costanzo and Monte Croce, inside the Sorrento Peninsula, in an uncontaminated environment where there are three protected natural areas to protect the biodiversity of the place.
The view is truly breathtaking because it is possible admire both the Gulf of Naples and Salerno, but also the island of Capri which is in front of you and take a look at Nerano from above. All in theBay of Ieranto Protected Natural Area, from which you can also admire the 30 km of coast ofPunta Campanella Marine Protected Area.
Mythical Stars: Astronomers for one night
in evenings of 11 and 22 August there will also be the amateur astronomer Piter Cardone who will make everyone experience the beauty of the stars guiding us through the constellations. It will also tell the myths related to the stars. All in one of the most panoramic points in the area, the promontory of Punta Campanella.

The evening excursions
The trek takes place on a path with difficulty level E (maximum difference in height of 100 meters, but with exposed sections) and with a duration of about 3 hours. Participation is recommended for adults only. L'equipment required: hiking shoes, water, windbreaker, flashlight, mask and hand sanitizing gel.
