Works of art, architecture and cutting-edge materials for the fashion show that will take place at the Toledo station in Naples!
"Sublimation - art in fashion”Is the event that will take place Thursday 21 April 2016 inside and outside the Toledo Art Station in Naples.
It will be an original parade in which we will be able to admire 30 clothes made by the students of the Textile - Tailoring Course of the Isabella d'Este Caracciolo Institute in collaboration with ANM.
They will be 30 garments created with exclusive materials that will transform the station into a real stage.
To wear them just the students who have ventured into their realization by staging one choreography of clothes-sculptures emerging from the mosaics of William Kentridge, from the architecture of Oscar Tusquets Blanca, from the passengers of “By the sea ... you and me"By Bob Wilson.
In this way, the classic shapes that characterize the various garments take volume almost as three-dimensional paintings.
The initiative comes at the end of an educational path in which the students studied the architecture and works of art that inspired them and pushed them to use cutting-edge materials for the models and fabrics of their collection to maximize the lines, geometries and colors of the installations.
