Song 'Swing is an eagerly awaited retro event that will make the whole city dance
Would you like to spend evenings at full swing? From the 22 24 May 2015 you can have fun with the Song 'Swing, that will transform the city of Naples into the Italian capital of lindy hop and authentic jazz.
The event includes three carefree evenings of live music and djset in some of the most exclusive clubs like the Nabilah, the Bar code (formerly Havana) and Circolo Rari Nantes. The absolute protagonist will be the 30 and 50 music who, starting from the distant States, arrived in Europe and in Italy, also revolutionizing the way of dancing. The swing, characterized by a fast pace, is in fact accompanied by swaying body movements, which does not seem to follow any pattern.
Workshops and dancing nights
Those who want to approach the swing can participate in gods training workshops which will take place at Milonga Porteña, held by Kamilė Pundziūtė & Martynas Balčiūnas, from Vilnius (Lithuania), Matteo De Stefano, Tina Monsen Nyheim and Manuel Micheli.
Le dancing evenings they will instead be inflamed by the live music by Miss D-Layla and luscious puppies that will propose the famous hits of the rock labeled 80 years and for the occasion they will have a swing arrangement. There will also be the Swing Valley Band and Swing Tree with Simona Boo.
