Return one of the most evocative events organized in the Cappella Sansevero in Naples, Theatrical guided tour "Stone Testament" which will take place on Saturday 17 June 2017.
Organized as always by the NarteA association, it is a consolidated and successful format that proposes a guided tour to discover the mysterious figure of Raimondo di Sangro and of the Chapel itself.
The show is written and directed by Febo Quercia and will make a real journey through time between history, alchemy and legends, as well as a deepening in the scientific studies of the Prince, thanks to the dramatization of professional actors.
The theatrical visit Stone Testament
The visit will lead us among the works of the Cappella Sansevero and in the Cavea Sotterranea, which will be opened in an extraordinary way and, together with a tour guide and actors Alessio Sica, Andrea Fiorillo and Luigi Credendino, we will try to unveil the mysteries of the structure.
The life of Raimondo di Sangro is deeply linked to that of sculptor Giuseppe Sanmartino, which has achieved the incomparable Veiled Christ and it is said that it was the Prince himself who revealed to him the secret for the marbling of the veil that covered his face.
It will also deepen the history of other magnificent works, such as Pudiance and Disillusion, as well as that of the Cavea Sotterranea, designed by Raimondo di Sangro as a sepulchral temple for his descendants.
