Let's review a very particular place: it is, in fact, one butcher's shop that the night turns into a "paninari”, It may seem absurd but it is so and it is worth it! She is located in Viale Michelangelo 12 (near Piazza Bernini), its name is: The city Pub.
The local
Obviously it is a local takeaways with the possibility of Delivery but it is also worth waiting out there to try theirs hamburger made with true chianina meat (the certificates are easily accessible outside the door) or sausages. On Saturday nights you will always find people waiting but the service is expeditious , quality è insured.
The menu
The menu is full of choices starting from the different denominations of meat (hamburger, frankfurter or sausage) to the side dishes always homemade. For the sweet tooth you can also take fritturine but, alas, these are all produced frozen exclusion made for the meatballs of minced meat that is worth tasting as produced on site. Wide choice of sauces to put on the sandwich, from the tuna sauce to the woodsman.
Our experience
We took take away dinner before a cinema and it was really an excellent solution. We ordered it as a delicacy frying potato chips with sausage, we were served a fair portion with a good quality / price ratio, and two sandwiches: one with sausage and one with hamburger. Unfortunately, they are not yet equipped for coeliacs.
Prices? About 7€ per person for two sandwiches plus frying potato chips with sausage!
Conclusions
Certainly the position is a advantage of this take away being always easy find a place where stop to collect sandwiches, while in spring or summer it can be a pleasant solution to eat sandwiches under the stars, perhaps in one of the gardens the area.
Meat, of course, is its strong point and is extremely competitive as well as prices compared to other butchers that provide the same original service.
