At the Trianon Theater, “Toni Servillo reads Naples” is staged, a tribute to Neapolitan culture and language with pieces by famous authors.
At the Trianon Theater in Naples there is an unmissable appointment: it is Toni Servillo reads Naples, show that will go on stage from the 23 to the 25 February 2018. The actor reads passages by ten Neapolitan writers chosen by himself, to offer the public a profound and exciting experience.
Therefore, at the center of the interpretation there will be classical and contemporary songs by famous authors. Through a journey in the Neapolitan language, an essential element of local history, Servillo wants to make tribute to the culture of the city. He will then give voice to some of the characters who have contributed to his identity: among them Salvatore Di Giacomo, Raffaele Viviani, Eduardo De Filippo and Maurizio De Giovanni.
In the latter work, the protagonist of “La Grande Bellezza” highlights the Naples relationship with the dead and with the death, characteristic of many works by Neapolitan artists. Among the readings in the final, the interpretation of the Level of Totò will enchant the spectators.
