A special guided tour in the Sanità district of Naples: an excellent opportunity to get to know the characteristic places of Naples and a sweet stop at Poppella's is also scheduled!
The ArteMiss Cultural Association arrange for Saturday February 13, 2021 at 10:00 a special guided tour in Rione Sanità, a wonderful journey to discover the history and traditions of this part of Naples which was the birthplace of Antonio de Curtis, the great Totò.

The appointment will be at Porta San Gennaro, the oldest gate of the city of Naples, and will continue in the Rione Sanità, crossing the market, to discover noble palaces and churches of the sacred mile.
By taking part in this incredible walk you will learn many curiosities and legends about this place, one of these will be the explanation of the name Health, which comes from the fresh and healthy air that was breathed in the eighteenth century.
In short, an excellent opportunity to get to know this district which was also the place where the recent television drama was filmed. Mina September, particularly in the Sanfelice Palace. We will then continue with a visit to the Basilica of Santa Maria della Sanità, seat of the ancient catacombs of San Gaudioso.
During the walk there is also a sweet surprise for the participants, or a stop at the pastry Poppella, where you can have breakfast with the snowflake. A reservation is required.
