Do you want to dance in the 50s and 60s? Twist and Shout offers you an evening in perfect vintage style in which dancing will never be the same!
Nostalgic of the mythical 50s and 60s, this is the event for you! An evening, the one organized by Arenile Reload for 29 November 2013, entirely dedicated to dancing in full fifties and sixties style!
Twist and Shout, in fact, is an event that is enjoying enormous success also in the rest of Italy, so much so that it has recorded numerous sold-out in cities like Milan, Turin, Florence, Verona, Reggio Emilia and Treviso. Thanks to the DJs protagonists of the evening, all the participants will completely change their way of dancing, at least for a few hours.
Present at the console, there will be Alessio Granata and Ale Leuci who will animate the atmosphere with the typical sound of the 50s and 60s.
You will move between: rock 'n' roll, swing, lindy hop, rhythm and blues, garage, beat, doo wop and so on and so forth.
In addition, one of the most elegant Twist and Shout groups will take to the stage: Sugar Daddy and the Cereal Killers. Their battle horses revolve around the rhythm and blues style, swing and boogie
This is the second edition of the event and, of course, it is preferable to participate perfectly vintage style, with hairstyles and dresses that reproduce the fashion of the time.
Among the artists whose music will be re-enacted, we will have Elvis Presley, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Chuck Berry, Ray Charles, erry Lee Lewis, Nancy Sinatra, The Hollies, The Who |, The Monkees and many more!
Arriving at 21.30 pm you can also participate in the free 50's dance workshop, held by the masters Irene Vecchia and Manuel Micheli of “Swingin 'Napoli”.
